Thanksgiving week
Last week we were able to get out of town for a few days and hang out at Trixie's mom's house. The main reason we went was to get some content shot and get ahead on our updates. I did a shoot in my red pajama unionsuit, one in a shiney blue shirt, a messy eggnog shoot (just in time for the holidays), and a blue wrestling unitard (below).

Iraqi Farmers Aren't Celebrating World Food Day This article will probably not be a big shocker to anyone that has read or seen The Corporation or is familiar with the work of Dr. Vandana Shiva. What a fucking disgrace!!! This is the place where the seeds of modern civilization first took root. 10,000 years ago this is where the agricultural revolution began. Now we're going to genetically modify those seeds, slap a patent on them and sell them back to those who can afford them. Can anyone explain to me where the humanity is in all this?

Nation's Liberals Suffering From Outrage Fatigue With all the talk about what went wrong in the election last week, here is one thing that may have escaped the analysis. Bush Inc. gave us so many fucked up policies and catastrophic decisions that it simply overloaded our systems. I mean by the time you sift through all the bullshit and who has the time or energy to organize.

Ground Zero Suicide Inspired by Election There is so much I would like to say about this - yet nothing seems quite appropriate. Andrew Veal may you rest in peace.

Thank You Senator Kerry
Even though we Dems may have lost this time around, we owe a big thank you to John Kerry. Once again he put his neck out on the chopping block for the American people and said take your best shot.

I've learned a lot about this man in the past few months and have really grown to admire him. Clearly he has what it takes to lead the largest "democratic" nation in the world. He has proven himself to be a man of honesty, integrity and good intention.

I'm sure many are second guessing his nomination as the Democratic candidate, and to those who are I would say stop. Stop. John Kerry is a good man. He has fought hard throughout his life for what he believes in. He put his life on the line in Viet Nam and put his career on the line after returning. He was the right man for this race.

During this election he repeatedly tried to expose Bush as the lying idiot he is with a style and grace uncommon in today's sensationalized sound bite excuse for political debate. Hopefully he was able to get his point across to at least a few people and soon people will wake up, rub the sleep out of their eyes and see just how badly this administration has bumbled, stumbled, babbled and boggled the minds of intelligent rational people everywhere. Hopefully he has at least opened up a dialog for the American people and planted a seed in the minds of many.

As good king George himself has said "You can run, but you can't hide." Anyone who has watched the X-files will tell you that the truth is out there. Sooner of later it will catch up to those who have bruised, bent and broken it. We need to hope it is sooner than later. We also need to pray for the health and well being of our Supreme Court justices.

Shit ---> Shinola
How hard is it people? Obviously I severely "misunderestimated" the ability of the American people to distinguish between the two.

As I sit here I have to admit I am shell shocked. Last night has proven, among other things, that I stand in the shadow of the majority of America. For the first time in my life I truly feel like a minority. I embrace gay marriage. I believe that women should never be outlawed from having the right to choose an abortion. I believe pornography and prostitution are no more dangerous than reality TV and pedicures. I believe in reaching out to those who need a helping hand. I believe corporate America needs to be reeled in and bitch slapped. I believe in preserving our environment and reducing pollution. I believe in PEACE, LOVE and UNDERSTANDING. I believe that our President can not now, after being discredited by his own acts and words, continue to be the leader of the "free" world.

Today I wept in private and felt more sorrow, despair and helplessness than I felt on 9/11. It's one thing to be terrorized by a handful of radicals, and believe me when I tell you that I was absolutely sickened by those events. But to have such a majority of your own people condone the atrocious behavior of this feeble minded excuse for a leader is for me much more hard to swallow.

Here is the man who turned his back on America when we needed him the most(9/1, 9/2, 9/3, 9/4 . . . 9/10). Here is the man who has given more money in tax cuts to the richest people in the United States then any other president in history. Here is a man who has repeatedly lied to the American people (WMD, Saddam's terrorist ties, no child left behind). Here is a man who wants to deepen the division between his own constituency. Here is a man who wants abortions to take place in some back alley instead of a safe and sterile environment. Here is a man who wants to deny the right of marriage to couples who have fought their whole lives to openly express their true feelings. Here is a man who is blind to every single mistake that he has ever made while "serving" this country. Here is a man who doesn't listen to some of the most intelligent and forthright people in the world. Here is a man who used his daddies influence to duck out of fighting in Viet Nam. Here is a man who cannot even pronounce nuclear!!!

Here is Kerry. SHINOLA!!!

How long will we have to have our faces rubbed in it ???

KR Washington Bureau | 11/01/2004 | Sense of dread hangs over Fallujah as battle with U.S. troops looms: "'Didn't the Americans bring with them the British and the Italians? Well, we have multinational forces, too,' al Abdali said with a laugh. 'The Americans themselves resisted the British when they tried to control them, so how dare anyone ask us why we fight? Resistance is legal.' "

Tom Hanks once played a character on Saturday Night Live, Mr. Short Term Memory. Has this whole country forgotten the reasons why Viet Nam was a complete and utter failure?

Bush and Cheney have repeatedly accused John Kerry of having a "pre 9/11" mindset. Unfortunately they have demonstrated that their own mindset predates the 1960's.

Hope is on the Way

I have to admit I have had my doubts about Kerry on and off throughout this race. I have, at times, given into my deepest fears of a second Bush term in the White House. But the past few days I have been truly optimistic. It's time for Democrats to borrow a pair of W's rose colored glasses and see what President Kerry will accomplish in the White House.

The polls all seem to have indicate a dead heat in the popular vote. Seeing some of the predictions of electoral college vote, the polling of cell phone users, and even what some in the Conservative Party itself are saying has given me cause to breathe a great big sigh of relief.

I know it ain't over till the fat lady sings and the GOP has a whole boat load of dirty tricks and seem to pulling out all the stops this year. But I still firmly believe that tomorrow justice will prevail and we will see an end to what has been a very tragic and embarrassing chapter in American history.
